Blogging – for those that don’t know it is a “WebLog”; get it?  I’ve been working in the world of computers since the 80’s.  I know it’s hard to believe but my first computer was an Atari 400 .  Why am I telling you this? Well, in order to explain why I’m setting this blog up you need to understand where I’m coming from.  I’ve worked in computers practically my whole life starting from the simplest Atari 400, seen on the left, to the complex IBM main frames, AS400’s, Unix and many more.  I’ve written programs in just about any language there was from my first BASIC program to Assembler; sometimes writing just to prove that I could do it.  I was on the Internet before it was an Internet.  Remember CompuServe?  It existed long before America Online (AOL) existed!  I still have one of the original t-shirts! But enough of that boring history lesson, if you want the in-depth details, just ask and I’ll tell you the rest of the story.  And I haven’t even talked about my electronic background.  Yeah, I’m a nerd and know how all those 1’s and 0’s fly around inside that keyboard you type on.  So with all that out of the way you might be asking, why is he setting up one now?  I’ve resisted for many years to set up a blog site and have all the excuses to give to.  But this time it’s different.

A few weeks ago I was monkeying around with the Microsoft Live tools, which are really cool if you haven’t checked them out.  One of the tools that intrigued me was the Windows Live Writer.  It wasn’t the tool that got me thinking but it was the thought that the Lord placed in my head.  You have all this knowledge about computers but are you using any of it for me?  Following that thought was the second thought; why don’t you leave a legacy for your kids about all the great things that I’ve done for you.  Pretty simple, right?  So here I am with my introduction on my Blog of Miracles where I will begin blogging about the blessings that I have had and what God is doing in my life and my family.

I hope that to who ever will read these blogs of miracles will be blessed and encouraged by what God is doing in my life.
